Over his dynamic 31 year banking career, Jon has developed extensive expertise in strategic decision-making and execution, leadership and team development, as well as strategic financial management. Continuously learning, he obtained his Master of Arts in Leadership from Royal Roads University, leading to his current path as Business and Leadership Coach.

Serving people through stewardship and guidance, Jon is passionate about leading teams to success while creating a nurturing environment for every person to recognize their value. An introspective leader, he achieves this balance by listening with genuine empathy, curiosity and inquisitiveness, seeking to understand everyone’s role. His insightful approach allows him to translate a team’s strategic plan into results in a way that honours each person's gifts.

Jon’s intricate knowledge of complex organizations and stakeholder systems, his collaborative approach and strategic execution skills are perfectly suited for his role of Vice Chair with the Grande Prairie and District Chamber of Commerce Executive Board.



A strong believer in stewardship of the natural world, Jon is also a longtime Scout Leader who, alongside his two sons, discovered the importance of servant leadership through the Scouting community.
